Why Choose Us?
There is a recent trend in hearing healthcare for some manufacturers of hearing aids to own hearing aid clinics. These clinics incentivize their employees to sell hearing aids manufactured by that specific manufacturer or one of their subsidiaries. Some larger chains or third party payers have gone directly to manufacturers to negotiate prices and have limited sales to specific manufacturers. We are a private clinic and have access to all of the manufacturer’s technology on the market, recommending what we feel is a best fit for your hearing or tinnitus condition.
How would you know if a hearing aid clinic is owned by a Health Care Professional?
When you phone to get information about the clinic, simply ask if they are owned by a health care professional or a private business owner or manufacturer of hearing aids; or, ask if they carry hearing aids manufactured by more than one or two manufacturers that are not associated financially with one another.
We provide full-service hearing and balance care which includes comprehensive audiologic testing, otoacoustic emissions, cerumen removal, and comprehensive tinnitus/hyperacusis assessments and assessments for dizziness and balance disorders. We offer Doctoral-level audiology care.

Not Sure About Hearing Aids?
Hearing aids are a big step in one’s life, not to mention a big investment.
It all starts with finding out just what your hearing situation is. At Cornwall Hearing Aid Centre, we will take you through a comprehensive, painless series of tests and evaluations designed to give us a picture of your hearing health. Should we determine that you have hearing loss, we will discuss the extent of that loss with you and what steps to take in dealing with it. If your hearing loss has progressed to a point at which we would recommend hearing aids, we will walk you through a number of options and make some recommendations based on your unique needs. We will not, however, simply sell you some hearing aids. You will have an opportunity try a range of hearing aids, on a trial basis and at no obligation, before deciding on which hearing aids to purchase.
